I found so many useful sites to help me get started. I think the most useful one for looking up state laws  is HSLDA. This site has each states laws on Homeschooling clearly defined. It helps to know your states laws beforehand. That way there are no "surprises".

Eclectic Homeschool Online offers info. on how to start, curriculums, resources, support, directories and more.

Jon's Homeschool Resource Page  has plenty of great links help you find the answer to most any questions you will have on Homeschooling.

The Home School Internet Resource Center  is bursting with a wealth of great info. Informative articles, links galore, even a place to swap used curriculum.

Homeschool Central has some good articles for new Homeschoolers. Plus lots of other good info.
